Push to ban harmful conversion practices in Tasmania

They were told they could be fixed, but what happened was far from therapeutic. Conversion treatment is designed to suppress or eradicate a person's sexual orientation, but in recent years it's been legislated out of existence in countries around the world and now Tasmania is being asked to consider a ban.
