purna vindhya - The Right Steps

Autumn has come
The leaves go down
From a tree
The birds go up
To a tree.
The eternal star is failing
And falling
To the steep and deep earth
To take the right steps for its further growth.
Earth has been the right place
For growth
Unwilling loath
To leave the earth.
It has taken an oath
To promise the earth
To repay it back
In its own sac.
