Pruitt Resigns AS EPA Administrator

According to Earther, EPA administrator Scott Pruitt has resigned.
President Donald Trump tweeted on July 5th that he accepted the resignation of the EPA's chief administrator.
Although Trump characterized Pruitt's tenure at the EPA as outstanding, the administrator became heavily scrutinized at his post due to cascading ethics scandals.
For now, EPA deputy administrator Andrew Wheeler will serve as the interim chief.
