Proverbs 30 is one of the most unique chapters in the book of Proverbs, filled with humility, mystery, and repeated numerical sayings—especially the recurring pattern of "three things… even four." In this discussion, the Common Sense Bible Study crew walk carefully through Agur’s observations, exploring why Scripture uses these sets of four and what they reveal about God’s order, human limitation, and the way wisdom is embedded in creation itself.

We examine the four things that are never satisfied, four things that are too wonderful to understand, four small things that display great wisdom, and four things that move with stately grace. Along the way, we consider how these observations confront human pride, expose misplaced confidence, and call us back to reverence for the Creator rather than trust in our own understanding.
