Protests over Sri Lankan Tamils issue continue

The DMK protest have spilled over to Mumbai now. A gathering of 500 Tamils were demanding Economic Blockade against Sri Lanka. Tamils in Mumbai under the banner of Mumbai Tamilar Federation are holding an anti- Sri Lanka protest. And in chennai too More than 1000 students from various city colleges gathered at Marina beach for a human chain protest. One crore students across Tamil Nadu are expected to be a part of the students' protest. Students have been on protest for the ninth day and are mounting pressure on the centre to take strong stand on the US sponsored resolution.
