Protestors will have difficulty in verification: Air Chief

Amid the ongoing protest against Agnipath scheme, Union Home Ministry has announced reservation of 10 per cent vacancies for recruitment in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) and Assam Rifles for Agniveers. Besides, Age relaxation for 'Agniveers' for recruitment in the CAPFs and Assam Rifles has also been announced. Speaking on the Agnipath plan, Air Chief Marshal Vivek Ram Chaudhary had a special conversation and enumerated the benefits of Agnipath. He said that there will be benefit of deduction in the age limit of security personnel. Today the average age profile is 30 years old, it will gradually decrease till 25-26 years. At the same time, on the protest against Agnipath, the Air Force Chief said that 'those who are involved in the violence, will have difficulty in verification'. Watch full interview.
