Description

Protesters in Syria turn a mosque in Homs into a makeshift hospital.
Amateur video uploaded to a social media website allegedly shows scores of dead and wounded after the city was shelled by government forces on Friday evening and Saturday morning.
Activists say more than 200 were killed in the attack.
The 11-month, bloody crackdown by President Bashar al-Assad has drawn sharp criticism from neighbours, the U.N. and Syrians abroad.
At Syria's London embassy, five people were arrested at a protest calling for Assad to step down.

"I am sure you know it.. the regime in Syria committing crimes and massacres on the TV today on Al Jazeera ... there is tens of people - kaftans, tied legs, shot in the head, absolutely impossible in this time of the 21st century we see such a crime. And Libya from the first week, everybody shouting, all the world shouting. Syria - no oil. We left to be massacred and to be victimized by this dictator butcher Assad."
UPSOUND PROTESTERS CHANTING IN ENGLISH: "Free Syria! Down, down with Assad! Down, down with Assad!"
Syrians in the U.S. staged a similar protest at the embassy in Washington.
UPSOUND PROTESTERS CHANTING IN ENGLISH: "One, two three four you don't scare us anymore!"
But Syrian residents in Egypt took it a step further and stormed the embassy in Cairo late Friday evening.
A Syrian spokesman in the capital said the protesters had smashed windows, burned parts of the first floor, broke computers as well as stole documents from a safe.
The Arab League has already asked for Assad's resignation after suspending its mission in the country.
The U.N. Security Council could also call for him to cede power with a draft resolution vote set for Saturday.
