PROTEST OUTSIDE PENAL WORKS OFFICE

Woodland residents took protest action this morning, frustrated over persistent flooding problems in their community.

The situation gets worse every year, and these residents say that while the solution is simple, the government fails to do its part.

Reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh was outside the Ministry of Works and transport’s Drainage division office in Penal on Wednesday, where residents voiced their concerns.
