Description

Visions like these have come to symbolize the now weeks long pro-democracy demonstrations in Hong Kong.

Dubbed "Lennon Wall", this stairwell in Admiralty district is lined with post-it notes inscribed with inspirational messages and well wishes... and is now in jeopardy of being removed.

One court ordered eviction notice has already been carried out in Admiralty-- which has some preparing for the worst.

When we look at them day and night, they keep us alert and boost our morale, this person said. We need to preserve them because of an emotional need.

For this reason, many of the installations are being catalogued and saved- some will be stored in warehouses.

Others, though, are expected to be torn down and trashed along with everything else when authorities do move in.

This artist, whose work depicts some of the every day scenes of the protest says destroying the art is actually what makes it come alive.
