Production Start Date Announced for 'Fast & Furious’ Spinoff

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson’s 'Fast & Furious' spin-off, which has been given the title 'Hobbs and Shaw', will start filming in September. 'Deadpool 2' and 'Atomic Blonde' director David Leitch is set to helm the movie which centers on Johnson’s U.S. Diplomatic Security Agent Luke Hobbs. Not much is known about the film's plot other than that it will co-star Jason Statham as his 'Furious' universe character Deckard Shaw. Currently, the film has a release date of July 26, 2019.
