PROCESS: Laser Burning with Paige Denim

Paige Denim takes us behind the doors of its factory to demonstrates how the brand fades its jeans using precision engineering, producing beautiful instanteous fades and whiskering in the denim in mere seconds as opposed to the months (of consistent wear) and years it normally takes. There has always been differing camps of thought including those who prefer pristine, raw denim, versus others who are more interested in the process and comfort of a pair of well-executed distressed jeans. However, given the high level of customization possible with Paige Denim's lasering process, this opens up the doors for both greater sustainability and authentic fades. Understandably, there's only so much Paige could divulge about the unique process, but they were kind enough to share a few words on how new technologies and methods like this ones can both recreate older aesthetics while minimizing their footprint.
