Prime Age Workers Replacing Boomers
Description
The American labor force has experienced a resurgence among prime-age workers (aged 25 to 54), with the employment or job-seeking rates reaching levels not seen in two decades. The tight labor market has played a significant role in drawing workers back, as employers have fewer options and are more willing to work with candidates, including parents and moms. Rising wages, increased flexibility, and improved benefits have also lured workers back into the job market, offsetting demographic shifts like an aging population and an increase in retirements.
