Preventing land occupations

1,500 patrollers have been appointed in Johannesburg to prevent land occupations during lockdown before they happen. This is a joint effort between the provincial government and the Joburg mayor. The patrollers will serve as a local intelligence force that will monitor hotspots and report to authorities.
