Preserving an Abandoned Spiderweb

: "Austin Day filmed Jordan Taylor as he takes the steps to preserve the abandoned web from a Cat Ear Spider. Summer of 2023, we had a family of three living in the concord grape plant in our back yard in Denver, Colorado. We observed the web for several days after a storm caused damage and the spider had already built a new web. This abandoning the web we preserved. We did it to preserve and admire the amazing intricate and detailed art that the web in itself was. This velvet lined backing is being used in the back inside of a shadow box that is full of oddities. It will last a lifetime."
