prepairing the motifs

these motifs are difficult to attach, specially if they have lots of curves.
if you have a embroidery machine, then its best to go around the edges with free hand, compact zizag stitch.
i am taking an easy way out and will simply sew the motif on. prior to that though, i am putting snips in to make the turning easy
