Pratap Pothen Calls Jayaram a Racist Moron

Jayaram has been at the receiving end of severe criticisms for his comment that his "maid is a dark fat Buffalo like a Tamil woman. How can I look at her". He was answering a question if he has ever taken a second look at his house maid, in a Malayalam television programme. Though Jayaram repetedly told that he was just repeating a dialogue and that he told it in a lighter vein, a defamation case was even filed against him for defamation. Jayaram had gone to to tender a public apology for the same, asking forgiveness if he has hurt anyone's sentiments.

Reacting to this issue is actor Pratap Pothen. He minced no words as he kicked Jayaram for his comments, without naming him. He wrote "doing shit can get it makes me laugh ... And today the idiot who hasn't read one book in his life a guy who thinks he is a superstar ... Excuse me in Kerala there are only two superstars one Mamooty and the other Mohanlal ...next time you talk well I can understand u can't cause you r a mimic and a person who speaks bad about the colour of the people in whose land you live in ... And call the women of the great Tamilnadu black and like Buffaloes needs a kick out of the place that fed him ...a man who I hold in complete contempt ... As if he is aryan and the people of Tamilnadu are black need to to kicked out of the place that fed him A racist .. And an uncouth man ... Dark is beautiful you moron ...and please read something that will help u grow as a human being ....being fair is hardly human".
