Still ….




I am alone, alone in the wild forest, silent and lonely


Opening the golden box of memories….
Is there anything with me in this silent journey?
Anything that ’ll open my blocked path?


I cried, but then, they were tears of a mother
A sea of tears is still with me
Didn’t you suck my breast with your toothless gum
Haven’t I got my breast-milk still
For you to suck with your teethful mouth?


We played together in that moonlight then
Isn’t there still that moonlight for us to play?
We played in both hot sun and cold rain
Isn’t there still that hot sun as our chum
Isn’t there still the cold rain for us to bathe


I filled my heart with high dreams for you
You have grown up, but dreams are still my own
Didn’t you want your heart to overflow with love
I doubt, still, I can pour out my endless love


We are far away from each other now
Yet, couldn’t our life blossom still?
