Pranav Ghode - Wilderness Galore

I stand in the glade
Where the grass is tall
With the sharpest blade.
I stand in the middle of a jungle,
Where the scary shadows
Are crawling in my head.
I stand in the wilderness alone,
With the roars and the grunts
Of those beasts in red.
But I don't wish to stand forever
Coz I plan to go ahead,
And face the shadows
That may cast their spell.
And so, I plan to wade across
Through the sharp blades
Of the ruthless grass.
And so, I plan to confront the wild
Even if it may gorge me inside.
And so, I plan to sing along
The hidden beasts of the red dead-wild
That may roar at me.
Or even kill me in vile.
I do not know if I may live or die.
And I do not care so either.
But if I may go to live on
I shall ponder in the end,
Whether the way I lived.
Was it full of dare?
That with a bold heart,
Did I face my fear?
And with full faith
Did I slay it right here!
