Description
U.S. wholesale prices rose 0.7% MoM and 3.4% YoY in February — above expectations — driven by a 2.4% jump in food prices, including a 49% spike in vegetables. Core PPI climbed 0.5% from January and 3.9% YoY. Economists warn pipeline inflation pressures are building ahead of energy price spikes tied to the Iran war.
