Pouring Shapes - This much I know-

My love is real;
unrelenting, though I’ve locked it up
and tried to ignore it’s tireless plea

Yet I wonder
how long I can continue like this;
the years pile up around me

Did I give up pretending
to deny its existence?
To pretend I don’t notice
my heart burning within?
To pretend my spirit
is not constantly seeking,
reaching, clinging
to every trace of you?
