Porsche puts a new top-model of the Boxster-range to the grid. At the Los Angeles Motor Show the Spyder will have its world-premiere. At a weight of just 1,275 kg the lightest Porsche of all. The new middle-engine roadster is light, powerful, consequently open and of high efficiency. In front of the rearaxle of the Boxster Spyder there works a 3.4-litre-sixcylinder-powerplant with direct injection. Delivering 320 horsepowers. Equipped with the Porsche Double Clutch Transmission (PDK)and a Sport Crono Package the new Spyder accelerates - thanks to Launch Control - in 4.8 seconds from the start to 100 km/h.
