Poornima Kanasen - Horror

A shuddering feeling…
Creeps into my bare soul,
It seems unimaginable,
Forming jitters in me,
Valor, I couldn’t be…
It is overwhelming my soul,
To foretaste horror, not my wish,
To oppose, impotent I am,
I qualm my own ability,
Trembling, I am but to what extend?
Vulnerability, my foe….
Horreur, growing intensely in me,
It is an unforgiving feeling,
Leaving no one behind,
It builds in everyone,
Dare not, to experience it,
It creates rumble in me, in everyone,
To encounter it,
Is it a must or fate?
I flutter in fear, quivering I am,
To surrender, I would not want to…
I, the master of my life,
Not some temperamental numbness……
