POOOW! is a trio formed in early 2015 by Carlos in lead vocals, bass and percussions, Joqo in the synthesizers, and Ric in the drums.

They use the onomatopoeia of a blow or explosion as their name to demonstrate the intensity of their music, since their objective was to do music that was “powerful” and energetic.

They create their sound leaving behind guitars and taking synthesizers as their lead instrument in addition to mostly composing their songs from bass riffs.

Their lyrics explore the relationship of human beings with technology and modernity. Stress, routine, traffic, and other topics are used to sing to day to day duties and everyday life.

Their first EP titled “#1” presents 4 songs that have been produced by C-Funk, lead guitar and founder of “Los Tetas”. The result is a production that combines dance, funk, rock and electronic music. They don´t know how to define their style and it may be better this way.
