Polly Tones is an acoustic duo whose goal is to expand the barriers of contemporary popular music. Even though our music can't fit into a single style or genre, people frequently try to describe it. "Passively aggressive" and "beautyful in its obscure complexity" is two among countless attempts to do so.

The duo, consisting of vocalist Malin Dahlgren and guitarist Viktor Naslund, formed roughly a year ago in Umea, Sweden. We started by writing and recording songs just for kicks, and it didn't become serious until early 2008, when we appeared in concert for the first time. The crowd seemed to enjoy it at least as much as we did, so we decided to keep doing it.

After playing for about six months back in Umea, we figured we might aswell move to London to focus 100% on our music and play and write as much as possible. So we moved here in September and it's been quite an adventure so far. We've played alot of live shows, and we recently finished our current EP: "Take This Pill" (Dec 13, 2008), which might be our best recorded material to date.
