Pollen Explosion in Prescott
13 Views • Apr 03, 2019
Description
Info from Licensor: "Spring brings the pollen from many plants. In my area of Prescott, AZ, we have an abundance of Juniper trees. Their pollen builds up so heavily that at some point something has to give. The weight of the pollen drops from one branch hits another branch and the trees seem to explode! I had seen this many times, and when I saw it this time, I had my phone in hand and started filming the explosion of the pollen from the trees. This was in the morning and there was no wind involved here, just the tree itself shedding the pollen all over the area. Nearby cars ended up having a layer of yellow pollen covering the vehicle and people's allergies are so bad that everyone is taking medicines of some type and have become friends with tissues."
