Police raise issues over public compliance
Description
Police officers are dealing with the 'vile behaviour' of members of the public coughing and spitting at them as they try to enforce the government's lockdown measures, according to Paul Griffiths President of the Police Superintendents' Association. Speaking before the Home Affairs Select Committee, Simon Kempton the Covid-19 operational lead at the Police Federation, also called for the government to appeal to the public on more of an emotional level.
