Police Pacify Peeved Passenger

Info from Licensor: A man went on a rampage at Charlotte Douglas Airport when he began yelling a throwing down signs, pounding on the jetway door, slapping gate agent on the shoulder, etc. He removed his shirt and at one time, started to remove his pants and undergarment. This whole incident started earlier when the man went into a shop at the airport and was pushing things off countertops. He then came to my gate where he started yelling obscenities and throwing things. This was not even his gate. He was eventually arrested after about 20 minutes. Police said it took only two minutes but this whole thing took much longer. That is what the passengers were upset about. The length of time it took for a response. The gate agents held their composure through the entire incident. When the police finally arrived, one officer came behind the man and cuffed him. He did not put up a fight.
