I walk alone; down this path I’ve chose
Facing each obstacle, as they arose
A ghostly premonition, a spirit in night
A lone solemn figure, moving thru the light

My heart grows colder, now empty and hollow
In your deceitful pretenses, I refused to wallow
Without the trust, love never could be
So I give you your wish, I set you free

Just like the Great Wall of China, before its fall
Around this heart of mine, I’ll rebuild another wall
As I leave tonight, no longer you’re stepping stone
I’ll accept the path I’ve chosen, tonight
I walk alone
