Poem Writer - Pain is

A million voices
Screaming in my head
A million questions
The answers left unsaid
A jagged knife
An unfulfilled life.

An eerie sentence
That lingers in your mind
A final member
That gets left behind
A desperate yelp
A cry for help.

A deep, dark ocean
A bottomless sea
A flowing river
That's drowning me
An invisible scar
But I know where you are.

A pointing finger
A lonely sigh
An empty classroom
Time flying by
Sticky fingers pulling your hair
A reaching hand that finds nothing but air.

It's the word you dare to utter
It's the world's most ugly monster
It's the strength you cannot muster
Pain is loathed hate and anger.
