PNM CLAIMS UPR VICTIMIZATION

Member of Parliament for Laventille West and Attorney at Law Kareem Marcelle is accusing the Government of political cleansing.


He says the mass dismissal of workers attached to the Unemployment Relief Programme and other state initiatives is the act of a vindictive administration.


This comes after more than 300 URP workers were fired on Wednesday in what Government insists is part of its restructuring drive to root out corruption.
