PM Modi: 'Banks Must Learn From Telcos'

Banks must learn from telecom operators on the benefits of focussing on the last-mile consumer in rural India. That’s the word coming in from Prime Minister – Narendra Modi who spoke at the launch of IDFC bank's first branch. PM Modi said that the growth in rural areas will easily outpace that in urban areas and there would be no need for additional incentives to boost priority sector lending. Tune in.
