PM assures Malaysians will not be excluded when purchasing properties

Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad on Friday stressed that Malaysians will not be discounted when it comes to purchasing properties, while foreigners will not be allowed to purchase landed properties.
Finance Minister Lim Guan Eng announced when tabling Budget 2020 that the threshold for foreigners to buy urban high-rise properties was reduced to RM600,000 next year from RM1mil.
