PLUMBER ARRESTED FOR DEFRAUDING GOVT $.9M

Fraud squad officers arrested a plumber employed by the HDC today for allegedly defrauding the Ministry of Social Development and Family Services of close to one million dollars over a three year period after claiming monies for a senior citizen's home that was not entitled to any funding by the ministry.
The man faces at least two fraud charges.
