Description

Plumbeous water redstart calls are a loud, strident
ascending "ziet, ziet," typically accompanied by "tk tk" clicks. It is found in South Asia, China, and Southeast Asia. Plumbeous water redstarts prefer to live near
rapidly running streams and rivers. This is a male bird, which is slate blue with rusty red tails. The natural habitat elevation is at around 2,000 to 4,000 meters. This bird is so beautiful and often found near fast streams. No doubt if you are sitting near streams, you will heard the call of plumbeous water redstart quite often. Its sound is so relaxing and soothing. i captured this bird in Malam Jabba at Abshar point in June 2024
