PLAYLIST meets Extra Golden a Kenyan band whose mix of indie rock and Kenyan benga has won fans around the world. Benga is a high-energy guitar-based dance music that came out of Kenya in the late 1940s that lives up to its name, which means something beautiful. Fusing benga with American influenced guitar riffs has made Extra Golden one of the worlds most renowned fusion bands. We hear their story.
