Planned Parenthood endorsed Democrat Joe Biden for U.S. president. They called his race against President Donald Trump a “fight for our country’s very survival.” According to Reuters, abortion rights continue to be a controversial issue in the 2020 presidential election. Planned Parenthood Action Fund launched a $45 million campaign in 2020 to support Democratic candidates. Alexis McGill Johnson, Planned Parenthood Action Fund’s president, said Biden “is committed to fighting for reproductive health and rights for all.”
