Plane lands safely after landing gear failure
Description
Footage has emerged of a Boeing 757 passenger plane operated by Kazakhstan airline Air Astana landing safely in Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport after reporting a landing gear failure.
The video, captured on October 12, shows the plane circling in the skies in order to deplete excess fuel and air traffic control discussing solutions on the ground.
According to local reports, there was no passengers on the plane and it landed safely.
The cause of the landing gear failure is still under investigation.
