PKR lawmaker’s aides charged under MACC Act

A current and a former aide to Sungai Buloh MP R Sivarasa was today charged at the Kuala Lumpur Sessions Court for corruption.

Sivarasa's service centre manager KR Naveen, 50 and former staff Nico Kam Joo Hoe, 24, pleaded not guilty to three charges of soliciting and receiving bribes, according to Kosmo.

In the first charge, they are accused of soliciting RM55,000 from Bangladeshi national Mono Miah Siddikur Rahman for not reporting his firm of illegally bringing in foreign workers to the Immigration Department.
