Pixie Lott's sets sail new album

Few things are as iconic to London as the Thames River but Pixie Lott showed she wanted part of the action.
The British singer invited 350 special guests on board a luxury liner on Monday (October 31) to celebrate the launch of her new album.
"Young Foolish Happy" is Lott's follow-up effort after the massive success of her debut album, which spawned two number one singles.
Accompanied by just a cello, piano and guitar, the singer performed three new tracks acoustically including the no. 1 hit "All About Tonight".
20-year-old Lott says she's all grown up on album number two, opening up emotionally, while still pumping out high-energy pop songs.

"I feel like I've matured a lot since the first album and the music's more soulful and it's about stuff I can relate to at the moment so I hope people like it."
In the three years since her first album, Lott says she's learned more about the not-so-glamourous side of the music industry.

"I remember when I first started my album, I was really frustrated it didn't come out for like four or five years and you do get frustrated because loads of people want to do the same thing."
Her older sister Charlie said she knew early on that Pixie was destined for stardom.

Fellow singer and god daughter of Amy Winehouse Dionne Bromfield said Lott's appeal was her girl-next-door image.

Lott became a part of London's backdrop when a visual arts display of her new album was projected onto east London's iconic Billingsgate Market.
"Young Foolish Happy" is out on Mercury Records on November 14.
