Pissed Off - My Friend

As we grow apart further and further
i miss you more each day.
We used to be the ones you couldn't seperate.
But now its different.
I feel as though im missing half of me.
I've cried and cried,
in my sobbs a part of me has died.
I see you and ocassionly say hi.
But thats all now were on a hello friendship.

I miss the parties, the sleepovers, the long talks,
the little pick me up notes, and the inside jokes.
But this is all gone we act as though it
never happened at all.
I have flashbacks of us as kids playing dress up,
you always wore the big purple dress and i wore
the black skirt.
I miss our old ways.
We even took trips together my favorite was
when your family took us down to florida.
We laid on the beach in the warm sand.

I miss having someone always there.
When i had a problem even if it was at 2 in the morning
You'd stay up to hear me cry and comfort me.
I miss your insane laugh that i took for granit.
I wish we were still tight but its changed to much.
i lay here wishing i could fix what made us grow apar
