PIO are David Greene and Niall O'Connor an acoustic duo largely based in Limerick. PIO formed in May 2005 and since then have written a collection of songs, recorded some and have recently started gigging. Their influences are extremely wide ranging including artists such as Bright Eyes and Biffy Clyro. The band has recently just recorded a new demo with DMD Productions (www.myspace.com/dannysilence). These recordings of "Butterflies" and "John" gave PIO the opportunity to have a "full band sound" behind their acoustic tracks. Presently, the band are organising gigs in Limerick, Cork, Waterford and Dublin and are looking to recruit a drummer.
