"Devangana Kalita, Natasha and Shambhawi Vikram Singh, founding members of 'Pinjra Tod: Break the Hostel Locks', talk about their online campaign which addresses issues like eliminating unnecessary restrictions in women’s hostels, especially those that prohibit women from staying out late. The idea is to raise our voices against the tyrannical rules for hostel and PG residents in the city and that women don’t have to be caged at all. These young female students are fighting with this initiative and are trying to create a new vision, about what public spaces could be like for women!
