Most "Message" cult leaders are aware that the relics worshipped by "Message" cult members are the result of broken cameras, errors in film development, environmental conditions, lighting, and more. Yet they continue to unduly influence cult members to believe that these photographs are "pillars of fire."

Cult leaders find these photographs to be profitable and allow this to continue. Cult members, manipulated to believe the fiction, worship idols made of ... plastic.
