White pain
questioned me,
never my actions.
Allowed laughter,
but never joy.
Ate me up from within.
Leaving nothing,
not even my selfpity
to protect me.

White pain
reduced me,
robbed me,
of what was once mine.
Leaving me
with blank fingertips.

I realize,
that the road
I will take,
will change.
The map
will not be found
this time.

God,
let your love
shine through me.
Give me peace.
Lead me back
to myself again.

Let me be Yours
and let me be me.
