Like spider veins
of gnarly wood
no branches alike.
Casting shadows,
breeze shivering,
ripple watching,
sand drifting,
sun soaking.
Grayed skies
touching down
over laidback waves
of golden hue.
Footprints linger
hours past.
A couple laughs
and scatters sand,
leaving behind
a special spot
hollowed out.
Shadows cast,
framed by branches
like spider veins,
a lacey web
encases the sun….
captured by
the dream catcher…
