Hired gun Mowld, always on some dubious "mission", is repeatedly dragging Phungus, an anxious alien, from his cushy life as bartender into countless outlandish adventures. Accompanied by ALIS, their hacked imperial robot, they travel in a spaceship with an experimental Framistan Drive sought after by various shady characters.
