Philippine capital faces child prostitution problem

It has been more than one month since Pope Francis, the leader of the Catholic Church, was left nearly speechless by a 12-year old girl in Manila last January.

In tears, she asked the head of the Catholic Church why God allowed children like her to be abused and prostituted.

It shone a light on a sensitive issue that is of growing concern particularly in the capital Manila.
