Description
in copious tears
and terrible pain
i've fought an illness
I disdain
for in my brain
circuits disconnect and jam
In refrain
'midst all the strife
like a limpet
i've clung to you
my rock
and always
sung my song of hope
'i am' -
believing it
to be true.
now, once again,
i must make a trist
to live again
not merely to exist
to find the courage
to forgive -
to remember
then forget.`
