The Myo-Release Therapy Institute is a successful registered massage therapy clinic and training facility that provides a unique service over and above that of a Spa or even a standard massage therapy clinic. Their current approach of combining Hydro-Therapy (a water jet based system involving various methods, temperatures and pressures), Myo-Fascial Release Therapy and a brand new style called MYO-Release Massage Therapy to facilitate the healing of its patients is proving to be extremely successful in chronic pain management. Currently, no other institute exists that train in the combination of Hydro-Therapy/Aromatherapy, MYO-Fascial Therapy and MYO-Release Therapy. There are a few trainers in Quebec, Ontario, Maritimes and the US who offer similar training but without the hands-on and extensive curriculum.

Our objective at the Myo-RT Institute is to treat clients on an individual basis and provide them with the proper and most effective treatment program for their condition. The ultimate goal is to help facilitate the body to heal itself. There is not one method of massage that treats every condition. What works best is using different massage techniques and treatment programs specific for the individual.

Myo-Release Therapy or MYO-RT is the use of specific advanced massage techniques to locate, release, and realign restricted tissue that cause pain, decrease range of motion and hinders optimum health and performance. MYO-RTI's main goal is to release muscle or restricted tissue that directly or indirectly cause pain.

MYO-RT consists of three components that the therapist can do to achieve this goal.

1) Hydro-tub Massage. This is where water at high pressure is used to help release restricted tissue, helps to flush toxins from the muscle, and conditions the muscle for hands on massage treatment.

2) Myo-Fascial Release therapy. This is used to help release any restricted fascia that surrounds the muscle, allowing the muscle to expand.

3) Myo-Release Massage Therapy. These are advanced massage therapy techniques that teach you to locate, release, realign, and flush the muscle that is restricted in any way.
