Phil Panebianco - Generation X

Don't look at me like I'm strange.
Don't look at me as if I am different.
I am just myself.
A person who expresses his thoughts.
Someone who speaks his mind.
I am just a person like you, living in this crazy world.
I am part of a generation that rebels against the system.
Yet we respect it.
I am part of this new revolution we have created.
Not afraid to stand up to our peers, not afraid to fight.
We let it all hang out for the world to see.
We see all the stares, we hear all the whispers.
But we take it with a grain of salt, because society does not understand us, society will not accept us.
We'll leave our mark on the world,
so everyone will remember, Generation X!
